Job summary

Renford Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Operative (Picker/Packer) in Pershore to support busy warehouse and production teams. Duties include picking, packing, and preparing orders, with an emphasis on accuracy and speed.

Responsibilities

• Print and organise the day's picking tickets.

We're looking for a Warehouse Operative (Picker/Packer) to join a busy team in the distribution industry. This is a handson role supporting the warehouse and production teams with the picking, preparation and packing of customer and wholesale orders.

Due to the location, you will need your own transport.

• Immediate start
• Possible permanent position after a successful trial period

Duties:

• Printing and organising the day's picking tickets
• Picking customer orders accurately using a paperbased system
• Delivering picked goods to the Production Team in a timely manner
• Checking stock levels and reporting shortages to the Production Manager
• Helping ensure shortages are identified early so replacement stock can be ordered
• Maintaining a tidy, organised and efficient working area
• Packing items from picked components ready for dispatch
• Packing products carefully and securely
• Ensuring orders are completed accurately and to the required standard
• Checking finished products before dispatch
• Working efficiently to meet daily dispatch deadlines

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy

Working Hours:
