Job summary

The Staffing Network Ltd is recruiting a Warehouse Operative Parcel Sorter for our client in Pocklington, York. This is a long-term role within a busy logistics operation.

You will pick and pack goods, prepare parcel orders, load and unload deliveries, conduct stock checks, and operate warehouse systems and handheld scanners while maintaining high safety standards. Shifts are early mornings Tuesday to Saturday, 02:00–10:00, with pay £13.21 per hour 02:00–06:00 and £12.71 per hour 06:00–10:00.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
• Positive, can-do attitude and reliability.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work Tuesday to Saturday early mornings.

Shift Details

Shift: Early Morning shift Tuesday to Saturday

Hours: 02:00am - 10:00am

Pay rate: 02:00am - 06:00am £13.21p/h 06:00am - 10:00am £12.71p/h

Own transport essential due to location

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing goods accurately and efficiently
• Picking, packing, and preparing parcel orders for dispatch
