About the role:

InPost is seeking experienced Warehouse Operatives to join our dynamic Parcel Sorting Team at the Inverness depot. This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of a leading company in the parcel delivery industry, renowned for supporting some of the UK’s most prominent high street and online brands.

The ideal candidates will bring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to handling parcels within a fast‑paced warehouse environment. You will collaborate closely with colleagues to optimize sorting workflows and meet daily targets, helping to drive the success of our logistics operations.

📍Location: Inpost Inverness depot, Walker Road, Inverness IV11TY

📅Shift Pattern: (A) - THURSDAY - SUNDAY - 07.00am - 13.00pm or (B) SATURDAY & SUNDAY - 08.00am - 14.00pm.

💰Salary: £12.21p/h - £13.45p/h for Sunday shift.

What you’ll be doing:

• Efficiently sorting parcels to optimise and streamline the entire operational workflow, ensuring timely and accurate processing that supports seamless distribution.
• Expertly relabelling and meticulously preparing parcels for dispatch, guaranteeing all items meet stringent quality and accuracy standards before reaching their destination.
• Demonstrating versatility by manually sorting parcels with precision or operating advanced sorting machinery when required, adapting quickly to meet dynamic operational demands.
• Actively contributing to a wide range of general warehouse responsibilities, maintaining an organised and efficient environment that drives overall productivity and operational excellence.
• Loading and unloading parcels with speed and accuracy within a fast‑paced, collaborative team setting, ensuring deadlines are consistently met while fostering a positive and motivated work atmosphere.
