A leading supply chain recruitment agency is looking for Warehouse Operatives to work in ambient, chilled, and freezer environments at their Haydock Distribution Centre. Qualifications

Warehouse Operative – Ambient, Chilled and Freezer Environment

Location : Haydock, WA11

Pay : £15.09 per hour

Hours : Days of work will be confirmed but it will either be Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday, 22 : 00-06 : 00

Start : Immediate

Contract : Temporary ongoing

Must pass a drug and alcohol test and a DBS check

Key Responsibilities

• Working in ambient, chilled or freezer environments (PPE and additional breaks provided)
• Reviewing order requirements
• Picking products using hand scanners
• Operating manual handling equipment (pallet trucks, PPTs, trolleys)
• Loading vehicles for delivery
• Keeping the work area clean and safe
• Collaborating with team members to meet daily targets

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred
• Positive, “can-do” attitude
• PPT experience (valid licence desirable)
• Willingness to work in chilled or freezer areas
• Understanding of Health & Safety standards
