A leading electrical retailer in Crawley is seeking full-time Warehouse Operatives for the night shift. You will unload appliances from trailers and load them into delivery vans, ensuring our Home Delivery operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but full training will be provided. We are recruiting individuals to join our night shift team on a Full-Time, Permanent Contract to support our Warehouse in Crawley.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be supporting our Home Delivery operation by loading products from the warehouse into AO delivery vans ready to be delivered to our customers the next day.

  • Shift pattern: 5 on 3 off, 5 on 2 off

Job Type: Full time and permanent contract
Location: Unit 200 Focal Point, Fleming Way, Crawley, RH10 9DF

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
  • Unloading appliances from trailers into the warehouse
  • Loading appliances from the warehouse into delivery vans
  • Using warehouse equipment such as Sack Barrows to move appliances
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures
  • Report any accidents, product issues or damages
  • Strong teamwork
A Few Things About You

While working it is important that we all work together to stay motivated throughout the shift, therefore you must be able to work independently and work well within a team.

  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential (full training is provided onsite)
  • Be able to build strong internal and external relationships to support you to deliver your role.
  • Work well under pressure and be able to quickly offer solutions to resolve any issues.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbally.
