Job summary

EVRi Group is recruiting Warehouse Operatives at Rugby Hub near Coventry. The role covers loading/unloading, sorting and scanning parcels, with opportunities to upgrade driving qualifications and progress within depot management.

Permanent contracts are available. The role pays £13.71 per hour with full-time benefits, including generous annual leave and a pension contribution. You will work on a 37.5-hour week with some weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to perform loading and unloading of parcels.
• Ability to operate hand-held devices and conveyor systems safely.
• Willingness to work variable shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles and sort parcels into cages.
• Use HHTs and pallet trucks to move and scan parcels.
• Assist in organising parcels for efficient hub operations.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily parcel targets.

What You’ll Do:

Our Warehouse Operatives are responsible for the loading and unloading of vehicles, plus the sorting and scanning of parcels into cages.

Our hubsprocess anything from 40,000 to 100,000 parcels in a shift. But don’t worry, you won’t be tackling them alone! Teamwork will be key and there'll be some smart kit to help. You’ll use hand-held terminals (HHT’s), pump-trucks (once you’re trained) and work with clever conveyor systems that deliver parcels to you. You'll then sort them into “collars” for smaller areas and postcodes.

Our Night Warehouse Operative Full-Time contracts are 37.5 hours per week including some weekend shifts. Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance.
