Job summary

DPD Group is seeking a Warehouse Operative for the weekly night shift to support our depot operations in the UK. This permanent part-time role involves early morning hours and working on Sundays to Wednesdays or Tuesdays to Saturdays.

You will be on your feet for the shift, handling parcels up to 25 kg, using scanners and equipment, and ensuring accuracy and safety throughout the process. Training and PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• Physically capable of lifting up to 25 kg.
• Reliable and punctual with attendance.
• Willing to work fixed night shifts and adapt to pace.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parcels, scan and sort with accuracy.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

• Ensure correct labelling, reporting discrepancies to supervisor.

Job Description

• Days of Work: Sunday to Wednesday / Tuesday to Saturday
• Hours of Work: 03:30 - 09:30

This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.

Key Duties Include:

• Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
• Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)
• Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
• Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
• Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling andreporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
• Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift

You'll Receive: Full training from Day 1 and all required uniform and PPE
