Job summary

Staffline in Darlington is recruiting Warehouse Operatives and LLOP Drivers on a full-time basis. The role features rotating shifts (days, nights, and early mornings) with overtime available and on-site support.

Duties include handling heavy goods, picking using an LLOP, returns processing, loading/unloading trailers, and upskilling paths toward truck driving. PPE and full training are provided.

Qualifications

• Willing to work in rotating shifts and full-time hours.
• Able to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks.
• Must comply with site rules including drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers and rack stock safely.
• Pick items using a LLOP and handle heavy white goods.
• Check stock for damage, repack as needed and return goods.
• Maintain accurate stock movement and contribute to a clean workspace.
• Opportunities to upskill towards driving roles.

Job description

Staffline is recruting Warehouse Operatives/LLOP Drivers in Darlington.

The rate of pay is:

• Days £13.08 per hour
• Nights £15.23 per hour

Overtime is available and is paid at:

• Days £19.62 per hour
• Nights £22.84 per hour

This is a full-time role working rotating shifts, 5 out of 7, and the hours of work are:

• 6am to 2pm
• 2pm to 10pm
• 10pm to 6am

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• White Goods- heavy lifting is involved
• Picking using a LLOP
• Picking washing machines, dryers, fridge freezers, flat pack furniture, sofas, TVs, etc.
• Returns- booking in stock, checking for damage, repacking
• Loading and unloading trailers
• Opportunities to be upskilled to become a truck driver
• Drug and alcohol tests will be completed during registration as standard

• Ability to push, pull and manoeuvre stock and warehouse equipment safely
• Must be able to met the required visual standards for the role, with or without the use of prescription glasses or contact lenses
