Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking a dependable Warehouse Operative to join our busy returns team in the United Kingdom. This hands-on role requires physical strength, attention to detail and a proactive approach to daily tasks.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, 07:00 start, averaging 9 hours with a 1 hour break. Prior warehouse experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided for handheld scanners. This temporary position offers long-term potential and an hourly rate of £12.71.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.
• Comfortable performing tasks involving very heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Able to operate hand-held scanners (training provided).
• Dependable, punctual, and works well within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle and move very heavy items, including radiators and heated towel rails.
• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and well-organised.
• Ensure all products are stored and handled with care.
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Work collaboratively to achieve daily targets and maintain smooth operations.
