QS Recruitment Ltd is recruiting Warehouse Operatives for a busy distribution operation handling bathroom, plumbing and heating products in the UK. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role requiring regular heavy lifting in a fast-paced warehouse.

You will handle, move and organise products such as radiators, boilers, baths and sanitaryware, perform loading/unloading, order picking and stock allocation while maintaining a tidy workspace and adhering to safety procedures.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a busy distribution operation handling a wide range of bathroom, plumbing and heating products.

This is a physically demanding, hands-on warehouse role involving regular heavy lifting and manual handling throughout the working day. It would suit someone who is physically fit, hardworking and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The Role

Working within a busy warehouse, you will be responsible for handling, moving and organising a variety of plumbing, bathroom and heating products.

Products will include:

• Radiators and heated towel rails.
• Boilers and heating appliances.
• Baths, shower trays and shower enclosures.
• Bathroom furniture and sanitaryware.
• Toilets, sinks and other bathroom appliances.
• General plumbing and heating supplies.

Your duties will include:

• Regular heavy lifting and manual handling of bulky and sometimes awkward products.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Picking and preparing customer orders.
• Moving stock around the warehouse and allocating products to the correct locations.
• Preparing goods for dispatch and delivery.
• Maintaining an organised and tidy warehouse.
• Following manual handling procedures and all relevant health and safety requirements.

Hourly Rate: £12.71 p/h basicOvertime paid at time and a halfweekly pay28 days annual leave pro-rata

Working Hours: Monday - Friday0700 start9 hour shifts30 min breaks
