Job summary

Bike Club is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our logistics team in Greater London. You will manage goods in and out, assist with bike preparation and cleaning, and safely operate a forklift to move items around the warehouse.

You’ll work with the Logistics Lead to ensure accurate stock, timely dispatch, and high safety and quality standards. Experience in warehouse environments and forklift operation is essential.

What We Are Looking For:

The Warehouse Operative helps with goods coming in and going out, bike cleaning, and keeping track of inventory. They follow processes to keep things running smoothly and to a high standard. They work with the Logistics Lead and other teams to make sure everything is accurate, on time, and supports member satisfaction. We are also looking for a forklift driver, so recent or current experience operating a forklift is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Goods In: Receive, unpack, arrange, and store goods.

• Goods Out: Gather, pack, prepare and load goods for dispatch.

• Bike Preparation: Ensure bikes are clean and prepped for our mechanics.

• Forklift/Order Picker Operation: Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, move and store goods around the warehouse.

• Inventory: Stock control and counts for audits.

• Health & Safety: Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.

What Success Looks Like:

• Bike Quality: Ensuring bikes are prepared, cleaned and delivered to members with minimal defects.

• Timely Checks: Completing all checks and tasks within the agreed timeframes.

• On-Time Dispatch: Helping to dispatch as many orders as possible on time.

• Accurate Reporting: Accurately recording any issues or faults during your work.
