Overview

Job Title: Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver / Saw Operator

Start Date: 12/01/2026

Location: Pindar Road, Hoddesdon

Employment Type: Full-time / Temp-Perm

Working Hours: 07:30am-17:00pm (45 min lunch break @12:00pm)

Job Purpose

The warehouse operative will be responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt, storage and organisation of goods within the warehouse. The candidate must be conscientious and work well as part of a team, have good organisation skills and a willingness to learn the products we sell and the way we work as a company. The candidate will deal with customers and must be polite and respectful in their duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, check and store incoming goods and materials
• Pick and strap orders accurately for dispatch
• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently
• Operate warehouse equipment i.e. forklifts & saw (training for the saw will be provided prior to use)
• Maintain accurate inventory and feed relevant information back to office staff when required
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe and organised at all times
• Follow all company health and safety procedures
• Assist with stock takes and audits as needed
• Support other team members and departments when required

Working Environment

• Warehouse-based role involving driving forklifts, manual handling and operating machinery
• PPE provided and must be worn at all times
• Candidate must have steel toe cap boots of their own that are worn at all times in the warehouse. New boots will be provided by the company after the probationary period
