Job summary

Company Shop Group is recruiting for Warehouse Operatives at the Tankersley Distribution Centre. Roles cover day, night and PM shifts with various weekly hours in a busy chilled and ambient environment. The GBP 12.75 per hour rate includes a night premium.

Bank holidays are required. Full training is provided and prior warehouse experience is useful but not essential. We are seeking reliable, enthusiastic team players with a strong work ethic, attention to detail and good communication skills to

Responsibilities

• Check Goods into the Warehouse when a delivery is unloaded.
• Check for damaged or missing items and sort stock for storage.
• Move sorted stock to storage space or arrange transport.
• Keep accurate records of stock on the warehouse system.
• Ensure products are stored safely, labelled correctly and compliant.
• Follow environmental, food safety and quality/hygiene procedures.
• Process products through packing lines and ensure safety and legality.
• Use machines and equipment as required.
• Sort, check, weigh, label and ink-jet products.
• Pick orders using a scanner and take to packing teams.
• Place stock on pallets and wrap/label for delivery to stores.
• Organise transfers and load goods onto delivery vehicles.
• Keep all areas clean and high standard.
• Complete paperwork timely using correct documents.
• Input data using technology.
• Follow Health & Safety processes at all times.
• Achieve KPIs.
