Job summary

MSA Safety in Yate, United Kingdom, is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support stock receipt, picking, packing and dispatch. You will maintain accurate records, keep aisles clear, and operate forklift equipment after training.

Qualifications

• Customer facing and warehouse duties.
• Accurate and timely paperwork completion.
• Attention to detail in handling stock and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Put away stock deliveries and record to SOP.
• Pick stock accurately and request via SOP.
• Keep shelves tidy and labeled.
• Rotate stock when needed and move stock as required.
• Record all stock movements per process/SOP.
• Participate in monthly stock takes.
• Follow supervisor's day-to-day priorities.
• Understand turnaround goals for laundry dispatch.
• Escalate issues to supervisor to meet daily goals.
• Move between sections and perform other trained tasks to boost productivity.
• Maintain housekeeping and clear aisles for safety.
• Participate in weekly area cleaning.
• Use equipment per training and machine requirements.
• Complete Near Hits for unsafe acts and escalate when needed.
• Keep driving rounds and access requirements in mind.
