Job summary

Meridian Business Support is recruiting a Warehouse Operative / Driver to join a busy furniture distribution business. If you enjoy practical, hands-on work and are looking for a role that offers variety, stable weekday hours and the opportunity to secure a permanent position, this could be the role for you.

In this role you will pick and prepare orders, unload stock, load vehicles and complete local deliveries with a 3.5-tonne van.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Confidence driving 3.5-tonne vehicles.
• Experience in warehouse, stores, logistics, delivery driver, van driver or dispatch environment preferred.
• Ability to perform regular manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Reliable, positive work attitude and good attention to detail.
• Aged 25 or over due to vehicle insurance requirements.

Requirements

• A full UK driving licence
• Confidence driving 3.5-tonne vehicles
• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics, delivery driver, van driver or dispatch environment
• The ability to perform regular manual handling and heavy lifting
• A reliable and positive approach to work
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team
• Please note: Due to the client's vehicle insurance requirements, applicants must be aged 25 or over.

• Day shifts, 8:00am - 5:00pm
