Overview

Join Ocado Logistics as a Warehouse Operative. You will be part of our delivery team ensuring orders are correct, received undamaged and on time. We offer opportunities across different areas and shift options to support your work-life balance.

We operate a 24-hour warehouse with four day/night rotas. Roles include Despatch, Pick, Inbound and Freezer, with working environments across ambient and chilled areas (0-5°C) and freezer temperatures up to -25°C. Full thermal gear is provided for cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Despatch: load pre-packed boxes (totes) into frames and into delivery vans; sort and organise totes returned to site.
• Pick: select and pack customer orders into totes, ensuring accuracy and items arrive in good condition.
• Inbound: receive goods from suppliers, check quality, and place into totes for pickers.
• Work across ambient, chilled, and freezer areas as required.
• Rotate through Daytime and Night-time shifts as part of 4 on/4 off patterns.

Salary and Benefits

• Starting salary: £12.36 per hour
• Night shift premium: additional £2.67 per hour (00:00–06:00)
• Freezer premium: £0.90 per hour
• Overtime: paid at 1.25x
