Job summary

Aspire Recruitment is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative for a busy Bury site. You will handle picking, packing, goods-in, and stock checks, using the company’s bespoke internal system with full training provided.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, and pays £13.45 per hour with weekly pay. Initial temporary assignment through January 2027 with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Driver with own car is required.
• Reliable and punctual with good attention to detail.
• Comfortable following instructions and working in a team.
• Computer literacy and ability to learn the bespoke internal system.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing orders accurately.
• Booking incoming goods onto the internal system.
• Checking stock and deliveries.
• Preparing goods for dispatch.
• Following instructions and warehouse procedures.
• Maintaining accurate records.
• Using the bespoke computer system.
• Keeping the warehouse tidy and organised.
• Working as part of the wider team.
