Booker is seeking warehouse operatives for its Chilled department on a permanent contract with a 16 week probation. The role is in a temperature controlled environment and involves a 40 hour week with early shifts Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
Initial pay is hourly with additional shift premiums for certain hours and weekend work; a site incentive scheme applies. Drug and alcohol tests are required prior to employment.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Chilled department, for warehouse operatives to join Booker on a permanent contract with an initial 16 week probationary period.
You will be required to work in our temperature controlled environment at a constant temperature of between010C and 050C
Colleagues will be required to work an average of 40 hours per week.
06:00 till 16:00 - - - Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
You will receive the current, Hourly, basic rate of pay, plus shift premium, which is calculated on the basic hours that are worked between the following bands:
Hours worked between 06.00 and 17.59 are classed as day shift and attract no premium.
Shift premium is not paid on any overtime hours.
You will also participate in the site incentive scheme which is related to an individuals performance.
