A leading food and drink wholesaler is seeking Warehouse Operatives for their site in Caldicot. The role involves picking and packing orders, maintaining stock integrity, and ensuring safety compliance in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be self-motivated with an eagerness to work as part of a team. Flexibility with working hours is essential, and experience in a warehouse is preferred but not necessary. We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join us in our Magor site. Working in our distribution centres means fast paced environments, excellent attention to detail with the ability to think quickly and work as part of a team to ensure orders are picked accurately and on time with seamless delivery to our customers.
This role is working any 5 days from 7, Working 7am-3pm 8am-4pm & 10am-6pm on a rota basis.
Prior to employment, you must successfully complete a drug and alcohol test.
We have LLOP's and FLT's in operation on our sites, and successful individuals will be given the opportunity to be trained on these in certain areas of the DC's.
Our distribution centres typically have ambient, chilled and freezer sections, this role will be based in the Chiller.
As a warehouse operative, being flexible and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment is essential.
You should be hardworking, able to work to set deadlines, and have a professional, positive, organised, and enthusiastic approach.
While proven experience in a warehouse environment would be preferred, it is not essential.
You should be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative. Remember, the key to success is being self‑motivated.
