Job summary

Warehousingsolutions is seeking Warehouse Operatives in Birmingham for immediate, permanent roles. Roles include order picking, voice-picking with training, and operation of mechanical equipment. Expect light to moderate lifting, with a 12-week rota and five days of work from seven.

Shifts are AM/PM/Night with salaries on a tiered scale and overtime at enhanced rates. Excellent transport links and weekly pay are provided, along with a pension and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Attention to detail is essential for accurate picking.
• Experience as a Warehouse Operative or picker/packer is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Order picking of products.
• Pick using a voice automated system with training provided.
• Use mechanically operated equipment.
• Perform some heavy lifting (max 5 kg).
• Follow standard SOPs and uphold safety policies.
• Report any health and safety concerns promptly.

Warehouse Operative role details:

Salary: £19.80 - AM shift; £22.80 - PM shift; £25.80 - Night shift

Overtime £27.25/h AM -shift; £28.50/h -PM shift; £33.75/h -Night

Fixed shift AM 06:00-14:00 / PM 14:00-22:00 / Night 22:00-06:00

Location: BIRMINGHAM

Duration: permanent

You will be given a 12-week rota and be expected to work 5 days from 7, with the opportunity to work additional hours and days

As a Warehouse Operative, you will need to have:

Good communication skills

Able to follow instructions

Ability to give attention to detail

Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative or picker packer is an advantage, but not essential.
