Job summary

West Riding Recruitment Limited is recruiting on behalf of a Wakefield-based client for an experienced Warehouse Operative to cover the afternoon shift. A valid full UK Driving Licence is essential to operate yards/ vans and move stock.

This role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis. Duties include handballing stock, picking and unloading, driving vans in the yard, loading onto vans securely, and conducting stock counts to identify discrepancies. Monday to Friday, 14:00–22:00.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
• Experience in fast-paced warehouse is ideal but not essential.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn, including completing training.

Responsibilities

• Drive vans in the yard (must hold full driving licence).
• Load stock securely onto vans for transport to customers.
• Ensure regular stock counts and identify discrepancies.

Candidates must have a valid Driving Licence to be able to move/load van yard.

Hours of work

This is an afternoon shift working Monday to Friday 1400 - 2200

Salary

£12.80 per hour
