Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting a Warehouse Operative in Wisbech to support a busy logistics team. This role offers Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm shifts and a clear path to develop practical warehouse skills in a growing telecoms distribution environment.

You will handle picking, packing, stock control, deliveries, and general warehouse duties, with emphasis on accuracy, safety and teamwork. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is essential.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft 365 and Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with manual handling procedures.
• Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing, and processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Managing stock levels, inventory control, and supporting stock takes.
• Receiving deliveries and organising goods into correct warehouse locations.
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely using manual handling techniques.
• Supporting e-commerce fulfilment processes from start to finish.
• Updating records and reports using warehouse systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Our client, a growing business within the telecommunications sector, is looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join their busy operations team in Wisbech.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of warehouse operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Picking, packing, and processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Managing stock levels, inventory control, and supporting stock takes
• Receiving deliveries and organising goods into the correct warehouse locations
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely using manual handling techniques and lifting equipment
• Supporting e-commerce fulfilment processes from start to finish
• Scheduling shipments and maintaining shipping documentation
• Updating records and reports using warehouse systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Dismantling telecommunications equipment and preparing items for dispatch
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Providing general support to the warehouse and administration teams
• Travelling to other sites when required
