Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company in Winchester seeks a Warehouse Operative. You will operate a Counterbalance Forklift, load and unload deliveries, and maintain inventory. The ideal candidate has a valid forklift licence and warehouse experience. This is a full-time, temporary to permanent position with a salary between £27,000 - £28,000 per annum.

Overview

Holt Engineering are working with leading food manufacturing company dedicated to producing quality products in a fast-paced, high-standard environment based in Winchester. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative with valid Counterbalance Forklift experience to join their team.

This is a temporary to permanent position working full time Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4pm.

Paying between £27,000 - £28,000 Per Annum.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
• Load and unload deliveries, following all health & safety and food hygiene procedures
• Move, stack, and organise raw materials and finished products within the warehouse
• Pick, pack, and prepare goods for dispatch
• Picking products for the production area
• Complete stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records
• Support general warehouse duties including cleaning and maintaining a safe working environment

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence (RTITB / ITSSAR or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (food industry preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Willingness to work in a temperature-controlled or food production environment
• Must drive with a Full UK Drivers Licence
