Warehouse Operative Required – IMMEDIATE START | Wellington

Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 17:00

  • Friday: 08:00 – 15:00

Starting Pay£12.50 per hour

We’re looking for a dependable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join our manufacturing team in Wellington for an immediate start. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone comfortable with physical work and varied responsibilities in a fast‑moving environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Preparing stoves for daily despatch (requires moving units weighing 80kg+ using sack trucks and pallet trucks)

  • Liaising with the sales office and maintaining stock of readily available parts

  • Palletizing stoves and assigning paperwork for daily despatch

  • Picking items from sales orders and packaging spare parts for parcel despatch, using the computer system to cross‑reference

  • Overseeing stock control of parts and consumables within the department

  • Operating a table saw (training provided if necessary)

  • Carrying out other general duties as required

  • Role involves a fair amount of reading and some writing; Quality Control experience is a plus

  • Forklift licence desirable but not essential
