A leading recruitment agency in the UK is seeking a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join their team in Wrexham. This permanent position involves assisting with stock handling, inventory control, and the safe operation of equipment. The ideal candidate will hold a valid FLT licence and possess strong analytical skills. Shifts run on a 4 on / 4 off schedule, offering competitive salary with overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the uploading of vehicles and checking in stock.
  • Support other departments with requests, including replenishing the KANBAN system.
  • Manually prepare packaging types for production supply.
  • Select, prepare, and use packaging materials appropriately.
  • Ensure all waste streams are serviced during shifts.
  • Collect items from across the warehouse for delivery or pickup.
  • Carry out warehouse inventory control using scanners/computer systems.
  • Perform stock counts and location checks.
  • Safely operate equipment and handle goods effectively.
  • Load and unload products, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Work in line with company Health & Safety policies.

Overview

Job Title: Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver

Location: Wrexham

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (plus overtime paid at 1.5x)

Contract: Permanent

Shifts: 4 on / 4 off (2 days, 2 nights)

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the uploading of vehicles and checking in stock.
  • Support other departments with requests, including: Replenishing the KANBAN system within production areas.
  • Manually preparing packaging types for production supply.
  • Selecting, preparing, and using packaging materials appropriately.
  • Ensuring all waste streams are serviced during shifts.
  • Collect items from across the warehouse, preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup as scheduled.
  • Carry out warehouse inventory control using scanners and/or computer systems.
  • Perform stock counts, location checks, corrections, and consolidation tasks to maintain efficiency.
  • Safely operate equipment and handle goods effectively.
  • Load and unload products, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Work in line with company Health & Safety policies at all times.
Experience & Skills Required
