Production Operative

Gi Group are looking for motivated Production & Warehouse Operatives to work on a temporary-permanent basis with our client, a leading manufacturer of electrical devices, based in DN14 (Whitley Bridge).

Due to the location, having your own transport is ideal.

Key responsibilities

• Working to meet production targets and deadlines
• Adhering to company policies at all times
• Operating necessary machinery and equipment in a safe manner
• Conducting testing of products to meet output targets
• Maintaining accurate logs of production
• Following all safety procedures related to machinery and the work environment

About you

• Good manual dexterity
• A keen eye for detail is necessary
• Experience with hands-on electrical/mechanical work is preferred
• A good standard of written and spoken English is required

Hours and pay

• £12.92
• Overtime- 0.5x
• Monday- Thursday: 08:30-17:15
• Friday: 08:30-13:00
• Free parking
