Job description
Spalding Warehouse Operative

Apply today to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client, a global food manufacturer. The Spalding site specialises in making deli sandwich wraps, ready‑to‑salad products, sauces, dips and soups.

Location: Spalding. Local applicants or those with their own transport are preferred.

Pay:

  • Rotating shifts: £14.40 per hour
  • Night shifts: £16.22 per hour

Hours:

  • First week 6am‑2pm, second week 2pm‑10pm
  • Fixed night 10pm‑6am

Key responsibilities: Work against an individual target to pick and pack items each shift. Receive full training on the site’s software systems and mechanical aids used for moving stock. Operate in a chilled environment, using mechanical aids where available, but must be able to pick items fast, lift product cases up to 20 kg and meet target requirements.

Key qualifications:

  • Good English and maths skills, including counting and multiplication.
