A small family-run business in Southend-on-Sea is seeking an experienced warehouse operative to join their friendly team. Responsibilities include picking and packing orders, maintaining tidiness, and conducting stock checks. The ideal candidate should have at least two years of warehouse experience, be computer literate, and capable of heavy lifting. Work hours are Monday to Friday with competitive salary starting at £25,000 depending on experience.

Family run, established business who specialise in bespoke fashion accessories are seeking an experienced warehouse operative to join their small, friendly team. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn a traditional trade in a modern environment as part of a busy team. Due to the nature of this sector, we are looking for a candidate who is used to a smaller warehouse environment and not from a large distribution/warehouse centre, this is mainly due to the nature of the products that will be handled.

  • Picking stock for orders
  • Packing orders
  • Keeping warehouse tidy
  • Stock checks
  • Use of in-house IT system (training will be provided)
Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred (at least two years)
  • Ability to work on their own and as part of a team
  • The role will include heavy lifting and the majority of the day they will be on their feet
  • Computer literacy essential
Benefits / Salary
  • Hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm with a 45 minute lunch break
  • 20 days holiday a year (plus bank holidays) with a maximum of 5 days used for our Christmas closure
