Job Description

Are you passionate about Warehouse and Logistics and looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic logistics company? We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team at the Southampton site. In this role, you will be using systems and scanners to receive and locate goods, pick and dispatch these goods, as well as general housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use of Counterbalance and Robur trucks to support warehouse operations (training will be provided).
  • Operate warehouse systems and handheld scanners to accurately receive, locate, pick, and dispatch goods. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers get the right products, on time.
  • Handle all goods with care and precision, maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the process.
  • Replenish stock and consolidate inventory to keep our warehouse organised and ready for demand.
  • Support general warehouse tasks, including pallet wrapping, labelling, and preparing goods for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised workspace, ensuring all equipment is used responsibly and kept in good working order.
  • Complete essential paperwork and follow warehouse procedures, reporting any issues or defects promptly to help us continuously improve.
Required Experience
  • Holding a current Counterbalance forklift licence is desirable but not essential (training will be provided).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills – you’ll be working closely with others, so being able to share information clearly and collaborate effectively is essential.
  • Exceptional attention to detail – accuracy matters in every part of the process, from picking and packing to paperwork.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment – you’ll be on your feet and busy, so energy and adaptability are key.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills – you’ll need to read instructions, complete documentation, and handle stock counts confidently.
  • Self‑motivated and proactive – whether working independently or as part of a team, you’ll take initiative and get the job done.
