Job summary

OKA is seeking a full-time Warehouse Operative to join the Operations team at our Swindon warehouse. You will be responsible for picking and preparing customer orders, packing items, and assisting with container handling to ensure smooth operations.

A positive, proactive mindset and attention to detail are essential. You will work within a dynamic environment, maintaining high standards of health and safety while supporting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse picking and packing is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Able to communicate to all levels of the business.
• Understanding of premium brands and customer service expectations.
• Proactive, flexible and eager to continually improve in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with warehouse tasks including packing, unloading containers and loading orders.
• Communicate any issues clearly to relevant teams.
• Ensure adherence to Health & Safety guidelines at all times.
• Work with QC and cross-functional teams to resolve problems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pick and prepare customer orders
• Assist with a variety of Warehouse tasks, including picking and packing, unloading of containers and loading of customer orders
• Accurate and efficient completion of tasks
• Effective communication of any issues encountered to all necessary partie s
• Confidently communicate internally, dealing with QC issues and responding to teams across the company.
• Ensuring all legal Health & Safety legislation and operational procedures are adhered to at all times
• Working in adherence with Health & Safety Guidelines at all times to ensure the safety of yourself and others
