Warehouse Operative
Overview of Role

Skyline Aero Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic individual to work within our warehouse department. You will be a key player in the stores team, assisting with all operational and logistical elements of the warehouse in a unique technical aviation company.

Key duties and responsibilities
  • Receiving orders from couriers and large deliveries
  • Booking in and photographing stock onto the computer system
  • Picking and packing items ready for dispatch
  • Crating and packaging items
  • Driving the company van
  • Sending stock out for repair/to customers
  • Weekly Checks equipment checks
  • Cleaning and tidying the warehouse in line with health and safety regulations
  • Logistics support - liaising with couriers and delivery services
  • Working collaboratively with the Sales team
Health and Safety
  • Understand individual operational safety and security responsibilities
  • Be responsible for ensuring own health and safety and that of others in the workplace
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in stores role
  • Positive, 'can do' attitude
  • Friendly and approachable with good communication skills
  • Able to work as a team member or under own initiative
  • Proactive and can demonstrate problem solving skills
  • Computer literate (with MS Office and Email)
  • Confident inputting data and using online systems
  • Be adaptable to different tasks, willing to learn and help in all duties
  • Competent driver with a clean driving license
Desirable Skills
  • Forklift experience (not essential)
  • Carpentry skills
