Warehouse Operative - Immediate Start Available

Rochester

4 on 4 off - 6am to 6pm

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a busy, fast‑paced warehouse team. You will work closely with multiple operational departments to ensure smooth warehouse and production support. You must have current Counterbalance and Reach forklift certificates – these can be in‑house but proof will need to be provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick customer orders accurately
  • Unload and rack goods received
  • Load and unload lorries
  • Pick materials and ingredients for production
  • Put away pallets from production into storage
  • Maintain a tidy and safe warehouse environment
  • Cover for team members when needed
  • Assist other departments as required
  • Complete ad‑hoc tasks to support operations
Skills & Experience Required
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment, ideally fast‑paced and palletised goods handling
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills, including familiarity with stock control systems
  • Valid Counterbalance and High Reach Forklift licenses with solid recent experience
  • Understanding of stock control and importance of accurate record‑keeping
  • Flexible approach to work including shift pattern changes, cover for absences, and overtime

  • Self‑motivated and proactive with the ability to use your own initiative
  • Willingness to take on various tasks as needed
