People Solutions is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Picker Packer in Raunds, Northamptonshire. The role involves picking and packing orders, stock checks and goods in/out, and preparing items for dispatch. Training and ongoing support are provided, with good career progression prospects.

Warehouse Operative / Picker Packer - Raunds, Northamptonshire

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Picker Packer to join our well-established client based in Raunds, Northamptonshire.

This role would particularly suit applicants with previous experience in warehousing, picking and packing, goods in, goods out, dispatch, logistics, manufacturing, production, or other hands-on operational roles.

Rates of Pay:

• £13.27 per hour
• Overtime paid at £19.91 per hour after 40 hours worked per week
• Weekly pay

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 - 14:30
• Ad-hoc shifts available: 08:30 - 17:00 / 12:00 - 20:30

Day-to-Day Duties:

As a Warehouse Operative / Picker Packer, you will work:

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Carrying out stock control and regular stock checks
• Receiving, checking, and booking in deliveries (Goods In)
• Preparing, labelling, and wrapping goods ready for dispatch
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely
• Moving and organising stock within the warehouse
• Ensuring stock is stored correctly and safely
• Using hand-held scanners and warehouse equipment where required
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Warehouse Operative / Picker Packer, you will need:

• A basic level of spoken and written English
• Good communication skills
• A reliable and punctual approach to work
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good attention to detail
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team

Training:

• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment

Desirable Experience:

• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
• Experience using hand-held scanners or similar warehouse equipment is beneficial
• Experience within picking, packing, goods in, goods out, or dispatch would be advantageous
