Warehouse Operatives

Location: Plymouth, Devon

gap personnel are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation based in Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team in a varied role combining warehouse operations, administration, and customer support.

The Role

  • Coordinating equipment orders to be delivered, installed, and collected
  • Checking and analysing orders, identifying, and reporting any discrepancies
  • Providing telephone and email advice to clinical and social care staff to support effective TEC prescriptions
  • Carrying out general administrative duties to support daily operations
  • Assisting with selecting and recording appropriate stock for technicians
  • Working with individuals who may be experiencing different vulnerabilities

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working in a busy, fast-paced customer service or warehouse environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Previous experience in administration, order processing, or workload scheduling
  • A confident and professional manner when communicating via phone and email
  • Stock management experience (advantageous but not essential)
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems

Hours & Pay

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00am – 18:00pm

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
