This opportunity sits within Uniphar Medtech t/a Cardiac Services, a dedicated division focused on delivering innovative medical technologies and solutions. It is a growth‑driven role for an experienced warehouse operative to join our Northampton team, working Monday to Friday to deliver essential medical equipment and devices to health service providers in the UK.

Role Responsibilities
  • Receive materials and update the inventory management system, store and allocate received materials as per company procedures, ensuring stock rotation by expiry dates.
  • Pick, pack, and dispatch materials to internal and external customers, ensuring the quality of all stock shipped and respecting condition and expiry date requirements.
  • Ensure all dispatched materials are transported to their destination efficiently, safely and accurately.
  • Store and handle all stock correctly, safely and accurately within the warehouse facility and carry out stock‑taking activities.
  • Operate material handling equipment as per health and safety guidelines.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties regarding material and logistical issues.
  • Carry out warehouse administrative duties, including scanning of documentation.
  • Participate in the implementation of operational processes and perform work to the standards of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) for the medical sector, as required.
  • Engage in regular cycle counting and planned year‑end stock takes.
  • Perform all duties in an efficient and safe manner, considering storage, manual handling and the welfare of others.
  • Maintain general housekeeping of store facilities and equipment.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties required to support the overall team.
