Job description
Warehouse Operative

Ecolab is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to support our warehouse operations based in Llantrisant. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely dispatch of customer orders and the smooth flow of goods through our facility.

How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Assist in the preparation and dispatch of customer orders in accordance with company procedures
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against shipping documentation, identifying and reporting any damage or discrepancies
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare goods for shipment, ensuring alignment with order specifications and documentation
  • Perform general warehouse duties to support the overall efficiency and cleanliness of the warehouse environment
Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Inspection incoming goods, verifying against shipping documents, and identifying any damages or discrepancies.
  • Collaborating with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
  • Adhering to safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and reporting any hazards or malfunctions.
  • Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move and store materials.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and assisting with stocktakes.
  • Picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Transporting materials between warehouse and manufacturing using Ecolab vehicles (LWB Transit)
  • Properly storing items in designated areas, ensuring efficient space utilization and accessibility.
Qualifications
  • Basic computer skills for operating warehouse management systems and tracking inventory
  • Physical Stamina: The ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
