Job Details

Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Location: Letchworth, SG6 2HB

Shift Times/Hours: 39 hours per week

Monday - Thursday - 16:00 - 24:00 (Midnight)

Sunday - 07:00 - 14:00

Hourly Rate: £12.90

We’re seeking flexible Warehouse Team Members to join us at our Service Centre in Letchworth, where the work we do is critical in ensuring the integrity of the medical supply chain. Responsibilities
  • Where required must accurately assemble items from the pick documentation and ensure that the quantity picked is accurate.
  • Special care must be taken to avoid damage and the appropriate bin/packaging used – all damages must be reported to the line team leader.
  • Any pick face errors must be reported to the line team leaders immediately.
  • Any visible errors within the warehouse environment must be reported to line team leaders immediately.
  • If there is a problem with a particular line/area the line team leader must be informed.
  • Hospital orders are assembled in the same way but must be given to the hospital checker to ensure accuracy.
  • Special check orders are assembled in the same way but must be given to the special checker to ensure accuracy.
  • Medical Bulk orders, Fridge orders & Secure area orders must be picked in the same way; however each has specific criteria that will be covered through training.
  • Any errors must be responded to immediately.
  • All unusual quantities in the picking process must be brought to the attention of the line team leader.
  • Any suspected or actual issues relating to an order itself must be reported to the line team leader.
  • Any issues relating to transport activities must be reported to the line team leader.
  • Awareness of Health & Safety procedures at all times.
  • The warehouse area must be kept clean and tidy and free from rubbish at all times.
