A food production company in Leigh is seeking Warehouse Operatives for their afternoon shifts from 14:00 to 22:00. We’re currently looking for Warehouse Operatives to join the Romix team, where we have vacancies on our 14.00pm to 22.00pm shift.
Functional Title: Warehouse Operative - MUST HAVE A VALID FLT LICENCE
Location: Leigh
Salary: £12.87 for training period increasing to £13.53ph when fully trained; there will be an 8% shift allowance paid for the afternoon shift.
You may be required to assist with pre-kitting or mixing of mixing batches, involving manual handling of ingredients.
To be successful in this role you’ll have an excellent eye for detail, strong communication skills, the ability to work on your own initiative, a strong work ethic and a pro-active approach to everything you do. Previous experience within the food industry is not essential; we’re interested in hearing about the transferable skills you have, particularly if you have previous experience of working with machinery or within a factory environment.
A purpose-built factory designed to ensure optimum recipe control, especially relevant where there are allergen, religious or health requirements.
