Warehouse Operative

Leeds, LS9

£12.36 per hour, weekly pay and accrued holiday pay

Continental shifts – 2 days (7am-7pm), 2 nights (7pm-7am) and 4 days off (including bank holidays and weekends)

Temporary to Permanent

About the role

Concept Recruitment are delighted to be working with our Leeds-based client to recruit a Warehouse Operative on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company who can offer stability and progression.

Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles into the warehouse
  • Maintaining warehouse cleanliness
  • Internal stock moving
  • Using the silo blower, resin drier and core cutter (full training given)
  • Emptying of large bins into external skips
  • Carrying out cleaning duties during machine shut down
  • Supporting the production team with the running of the in-house recycling machine
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or production environment
  • Willingness to learn the extrusion manufacturing process
  • PPT experience and/or a FLT counterbalance license is desirable but is NOT essential
  • Ability to work both efficiently and effectively alone, as well as part of a large and varied team
  • Reliable, motivated, and enthusiastic approach to work
  • Competent communications skills both verbal and written

This is a full-time role which will become permanent for the right candidate. Suitable candidates must be able to commit to the continental shift pattern working both days and nights which will include bank holidays and weekends in the rota.
