Job summary

Meridian Business Support Ltd is recruiting a Warehouse Operative for a leading retail distribution centre in Hemel Hempstead. The role involves picking graphics materials and store consumables using handheld scanners, sorting returned products by ID codes, and moving stock around the warehouse.

The PM shift runs 1pm–8pm with 5 days out of 7 including weekends. The role offers full training, a competitive hourly rate (£14.42) with overtime (£21.63), and weekly pay with free onsite parking.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform manual handling duties.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.

Meridian Business Support is recruiting Warehouse Operatives for a leading retail distribution centre in Hemel Hempstead.

We have immediate starts available on the following shifts:

PM Shift

• 1pm to 8pm (1300-2000)
• 5 days out of 7 including weekends

What You’ll Be Doing

• Picking graphics materials and store consumables using handheld scanners
• Sorting returned products by identification codes
• Moving clothing and household stock around the warehouse
• Loading and unloading vans (PM shift only)
• Working to productivity targets
• Manual handling and heavy lifting duties where required

What We’re Looking For

• Previous warehouse, picker packer or logistics experience is beneficial but not essential
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Comfortable standing for long periods and carrying out manual handling duties
