Pasta Evangelists in North Acton is seeking a dedicated Warehouse operative to support our Pastificio operations, keeping the warehouse organized and stocked so fresh pasta reaches customers in optimum condition.

You will record incoming goods, check batch codes and use-by dates, and rotate stock while handling pickups for Cloud Kitchens and Restaurants. A forklift licence is preferred, with a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes safely.
• Team-oriented with good workload collaboration.
• Forklift licence preferred.
• Understanding of safety and quality procedures.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Record goods in upon receipt and verify supplier deliveries.
• Check batch codes, use-by dates and quality of received goods.
• Store and rotate stock according to procedures.
• Pick components for Cloud Kitchens and Restaurants and record goods out.
• Move products around the warehouse using pump trucks and forklift.
• Load and unload goods from lorries.
• Complete end-of-day inventory and report damages or discrepancies.
• Follow Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures at all times.

At Pasta Evangelists, we believe pasta makes everything better. We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse operative to join our Pastificio (Central Production Unit) operations.

You will be keeping our warehouse, located in North Acton, organized and stocked, and working to ensure that our fresh pasta reaches our customers (including our cloud kitchens) in the best possible conditions.

What You'll Do At Pasta Evangelists

• Wear your correct PPE before entering the warehouse area.
• Ensuring you record the good ins when you receive goods.
• Checking batch code, use by and quality of receiving products from supplier.
• Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures.
• Picking components for our Cloud Kitchens and Restaurants and recording goods out and following up with schedule.
• Working in a high phase food production operation.
• Stock count. End of day inventory, reporting any damage or missing goods to the supervisor.
• Moving products around the warehouse using pump trucks.
• Loading and unloading goods from the lorries.
• Follow the Health & Safety and Food Safety Procedures at all times.

Who You Are

• You can work concentrating, paying attention to detail to notice errors when you receive goods or pick them for a delivery.
• You love working in a team and always try to maintain good relationships with other colleagues.
• You are able to lift and move heavy boxes and feel comfortable bending and twisting, kneeling and crouching.
• You have a forklift licence (preferable).
• You know the essentials of safety and quality standards and procedures.
• You can work with minimal supervision and manage your own workload.
• You don’t turn a blind eye to issues, but instead you jump on them and have a strong desire to solve them.
• A strong believer of CI, always looking to improve the way we work
