Job summary

James Latham is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our Fareham depot. The role is a secure, Monday-to-Friday position with rotating shifts from 5:00am–2:00pm and 1:00pm–10:00pm, and offers on-site parking and clear progression opportunities within a family-owned business dating back to 1757.

The successful candidate will pick orders, receive deliveries, and load lorries while maintaining safety practices.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience.
• A valid Combilift or Counterbalance licence.
• Ability to perform manual handling; equipment available to assist.
• Timber experience is a bonus.

This role involves picking orders, receiving deliveries and loading lorries whilst taking care to look after products and follow safety practices.

Our ideal warehouse operative has:

• Previous warehouse experience
• A valid Combilift or Counterbalance licence
• The ability to carry out manual handling when picking orders, with mechanical equipment available to assist where possible.
• Timber experience is a bonus!

Our Warehouse Operatives need to be on-site five days a week, so please make sure you’re within a reasonable commuting distance to our depot, before applying.
