Job summary

Cambridge Commodities in Ely is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join the team. You will perform warehousing duties and Goods In Sampling, working 40 hours per week with a fixed schedule of 06:00 to 14:30, and an hourly rate of £14.02.

Responsibilities include receipt and picking of goods, put-away, inventory checks, maintaining a clean, safe workspace, and supporting quality-related documentation and investigations.

Qualifications

• Current forklift/counterbalance certificate and/or warehouse experience.
• A VNA licence would be advantageous; training provided.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Team player with good mathematical skills and attention to detail.

• Keep working areas clean and tidy.
• Safety checks on MHE.

The Role

This is a key role within the Warehouse team, performing both Warehouse duties and Goods In Sampling duties. Key tasks will include:

Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:30

Hourly Rate: £14.02

The Requirements

To be successful in this role, ideally, you will hold a current forklift/counterbalance certificate and/or have some previous warehouse experience. A VNA licence would also be advantageous. However, training will be provided. You must have the following skills and attributes:

• Ability to complete heavy lifting and manual handling activities
• A team player
• Good mathematical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
