Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Operative for our client based in Andover. You will pack and organise orders, use scanning tech to pick stock, and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment.

Shifts are 5 out of 7 days with 06:00-14:00 or 13:30-21:30, paying £13.20 (days) and £13.60 (lates) per hour. A team player with good communication and attention to detail is preferred.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Pack and organise orders within the warehouse bays to facilitate efficient delivery process.
• Ensure customer orders are packed with precision and meet quality controls.
• Utilise Android/Windows scanning technology to pick stock for store and customer deliveries.
• Wrap and package items to safeguard fragile goods during transit.
• Document stock movements and maintain accurate records of outgoing products.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free picking area while processing orders.
• Break down empty boxes at pick locations and dispose of waste properly.
• Report any breakages or discrepancies promptly.
• Uphold a safe and tidy working environment at all times.

The duties and responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative are:

• Pack and organise orders within the warehouse bays to facilitate efficient delivery process
• Ensure that customer orders are packed with precision, adhering to the company’s quality control standards
• Utilize Android/Windows scanning technology to pick stock for store and customer deliveries
• Safeguard the integrity of fragile items by wrapping and packaging to ensure safe transit
• Document all stock accurately, maintaining thorough records of outgoing products
• Maintain clean and hazard-free environment in the picking aisles while fulfilling orders
• Responsible for breaking down empty boxes at pick locations and proper disposal
• Promptly report any breakages or discrepancies
• Uphold a safe and tidy working environment at all times
