Job summary

ATL is seeking an FLT Operative for the Burton on Trent (Pirelli) site. You will receive, store and dispatch goods using integrated warehouse technology, working as part of a tight team to meet targets while upholding quality.

The role requires at least 1 year of warehouse experience with an FLT licence. You’ll work 4 days on, 4 days off, with 05:00–17:00 or 17:00–05:00 shifts, and you’ll benefit from free parking, health package, life assurance, 21 days holiday, a £500 refer-a-friend bonus, and

Qualifications

• Experience as a Warehouse Operative with forklift truck (FLT) handling goods in and out.
• Proven ability to move stock efficiently and safely within a warehouse.
• Strong time management and organisational skills to hit targets.
• Familiarity with inventory software and warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process warehouse stock, inspect for damage or discrepancies.
• Move stock to storage areas accurately and on time.
• Carry out inventory checks and support audits with high quality data.
• Report inbound/outbound discrepancies promptly and clearly.
• Pack, label and load orders for delivery or collection in manifest order.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and colleagues.
• Maintain a clean, safe working area in line with site rules.
• Operate warehouse vehicles and equipment safely per licence and procedures.

The Role We're looking for a FLT Operative to join our team at Burton on Trent (Pirelli), receiving, storing and dispatching goods using our integrated warehouse technology. You'll work as part of a close-knit team, hitting targets and deadlines without ever cutting corners on quality.

Shift Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off — 05:00–17:00 (Days) or 17:00–05:00 (Nights)

What you’ll do:

• Receive and process warehouse stock, inspecting product and reporting any damage or missing items
• Move stock safely, accurately and on time to storage areas
• Carry out inventory controls and maintain high-quality standards for audits
• Report inbound and outbound discrepancies
• Pack, wrap, label and load orders accurately for delivery or collection, in manifest order
• Communicate and cooperate closely with supervisors and colleagues
• Keep your working area clean, safe and fully compliant with site safety rules
• Operate warehouse vehicles and equipment safely and in line with your licence and company procedures

What you’ll bring:

• At least one year's experience as a Warehouse Operative, including FLT experience
• A current, valid forklift licence. We are unable to accept in-house licences
• Proficiency with inventory software and warehouse systems
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Good organisational and time management skills
