Warehouse Operative

Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client's distribution center, which deals with Ikea Furniture Products. Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Dartford.

Pay
  • Mornings £12.21 per hour, overtime £15.87 per hour
  • Afternoons £12.48 per hour, overtime £16.22 per hour
Hours

Full-time role working 5 days out of 7 on a seven-week rolling rota (including weekends).

Hours: 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm.

Contract

All staff are taken on a perm contract after 12 weeks if suitable.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain highest quality standards by handling stock carefully to ensure it reaches customers in perfect condition.
  • Accurately and efficiently pick stock.
  • Operate Mechanical Equipment (LLOP).
  • Perform various tasks to support operational efficiency, including maintaining general housekeeping and hygiene standards within the warehouse and site.
  • Read and understand instructions clearly.
Ideal Candidate
  • Good level of physical fitness; able to lift items weighing up to 25kg.
  • Reliable, self‑motivated, strong team player with a flexible approach to work.
  • Good hand, eye and foot coordination for safe use of mechanical handling equipment.
  • Experience in a similar role desirable but not essential; full training provided.
