Responsibilities

• Safely unload and check inbound deliveries against documentation.
• Quality‑check and store products accurately.

• Manage stock moves, extractions, and complex/high‑density/specialty storage.
• Operate mechanical handling equipment safely and report any defects or hazards.
• Participate in team meetings and process reviews.

Skills

Forklift licences (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, High-Level Order Picker)

Experience with Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS)

Job description

You'll support smooth warehouse operations, ensuring products are handled safely, stored correctly, and prepared efficiently for shipment. You'll use IT and data to investigate inventory issues and maintain stock accuracy across all areas.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload and check inbound deliveries against documentation.
• Quality‑check and store products accurately.
• Manage incoming returns and process them correctly.
• Release orders from the system and prepare them for picking by warehouse area.
• Manage stock moves, extractions, and complex/high‑density/specialty storage (e.g., hazardous items).
• Operate mechanical handling equipment safely and report any defects or hazards.
• Participate in team meetings, employee review processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work alongside other warehouse operatives, two Warehouse Team Leaders, and the Logistics Operations Manager to create a safe, quality‑focused, continuous‑improvement environment.

Qualifications

• Safety‑conscious and takes ownership of workplace safety.
• Proven ability to meet operational targets and deadlines under pressure.
• Fluent in English with a valid UK driving licence.

Skills and Experience

• Forklift licences (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, High‑Level Order Picker, or similar) with safe operating experience (desirable).
• Experience with Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS) and automated warehouse environments (desirable).
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners, accurately recording and retrieving data (desirable).
