Job summary

William Wilson, part of the Wolseley Group, is hiring a Warehouse Operative for Cumbernauld on a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will perform general warehouse duties, pick and pack orders, assist with deliveries, and help with loading/unloading vehicles.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with a supportive benefits package including pension, annual leave, and healthcare access.

• Previous experience in a busy warehouse environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn, including forklift training.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Completing general warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment.
• Picking and packing items ready for delivery, some heavy lifting.
• Supporting a driver with deliveries.
• Loading and unloading vehicles for deliveries and collections.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety guidelines.

As a Warehouse Operative based in Cumbernauld, you’ll be responsible for:

• Completing general warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment.
• Picking and packing items ready for delivery to our customers, some of which can involve heavy manual work.
• Supporting a driver with deliveries.
• Loading and unloading vehicles for deliveries and collections
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and adhering to Health and Safety guidelines.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.
