Overview

Are you organised, energetic, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences? Join our Fortnum & Mason warehouse team as a Warehouse Despatch Operative, where you'll play a key role in ensuring every parcel that leaves our doors reflects the quality and care our customers expect. In this fast paced and varied role, you'll be responsible for picking, packing, and despatching orders to the highest standards. Working closely with teams across the business, you'll help ensure smooth stock movement between our sites and support our wider operations during peak periods. You'll also use Dynamics 365 to keep our stock records accurate and complete essential administrative tasks. Responsibilities
  • Picking customer orders
  • Packing customer orders to the highest standards, including quality checking of individual items and considering what the recipient will think when they open their parcel
  • Picking and packing site transfers
  • Completing orders systemically to ensure the accuracy of our stock file and the best customer experience
  • Keeping the despatch area tidy and safe
  • Communicating with other departments across Fortnum's to ensure that all of our objectives are met
  • Assisting with building and packing gift bags and picnics for hospitality events
  • Loading courier vehicles with customer parcels
  • Booking in click and collect orders
  • Processing supplier returns
  • Contributing towards compliance with health and safety standards
Qualifications / Skills
