Telent's Logistics team within the Network Services division is currently hiring for a Warehouse Operative due to an influx of work at our Super Centre. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative, driven, and well-trained team.
The Warehouse Operative role is based at our Chorley location (PR7 3JP), working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, with occasional earlier or later starts. You MUST be commutable to our Chorley depot.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Operative will be responsible for carrying out general warehousing and stores duties. The Warehouse Operative must be able to follow general work instructions without direct supervision. The primary purpose of this role is to provide warehouse logistics / logistical support to internal and external customers, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of materials to support contractual requirements.
The ideal Warehouse Operative will be an organised, reliable, and a hardworking individual with proven experience in a warehouse environment. You will demonstrate strong knowledge of health and safety practices, possess a keen eye for detail, and be capable of working efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills, flexibility, and a friendly, polite manner are essential. Experience with inventory systems and forklift operation is required (Forklift Truck Counterbalance License holder).
